The Break Down
Scary thing to even consider if you ask me. I think this is one reason I tend to be very hard on myself, and a real nightmare in my eyes. Continuously improving yourself is simply something that will always exist in my universe. You’ll constantly hear me saying this over and over and this quote is very true.
Young People: How could this happen to you? Well, I know you’re going to hate this, same bullshit you hear from the motivating gurus all over social media, stop messing around and focus on the important. Time is so valuable, and it can be easily Fucked off by many things [you know what those things are]. Try to do something that will make you a better you. Think of it this way, an important principle of mine is this “Do things now that you’ll thank yourself for in 5 years.” I know, but think about it. You start learning that thing you’ve been interested of for years on YouTube right now. Imagine yourself in 5 years, imagine you being a complete pro in what you are finally taking the time to learn starting now. Imagining it feels good doesn’t it, and it will.
“Do things now that you’ll thank yourself for in 5 years.”
I.M.
Reading, exploring your interests, taking time to think and reflect, making mistakes and learning from them, jumping into uncomfortable positions will all lead you to not being a 20 year old in a 50 year old body, instead you will be wise and one that can lead your future generations.
Trust me you will run into adults that have a very young mentality, and most of the time they don’t even realize it. It’s not a matter of judging or categorizing people, instead, it’s something that if you prepare yourself you will without a doubt notice it. Our bodies mature visually, our brains do not. Once you begin to notice this, it is your responsibility to treat everyone with the respect they deserve, and not let your ego cloud your perception.
